Review: C++ Programming Language (3rd edition)

Arguably the definitive book on C++ and surely part of any C++ programmer's bookshelf. While often used in intro to C++ courses, not actually a very accessible book on C++ for the person new to the language. For that purpose, I recommend Lippman's "C++ Primer". Still, once you get past the basics, this is a book to have. Written by the creator of C++ and reflects his vision. In this edition, increasing emphasis on Standard Template Library (STL) - so, brush up on that before taking on this book. Available in here.
